3D Workflow - Blender & Unity Render Experiments
For the first version of Plumb the Depths, we’re currently debating assets as 3D Models or Sprites. We want the game to have some stop-motion energy like The Neverhood (1996) or the more contemporary All Living Things (2025).

A clay model made in Blender using SouthernShotty’s Blender Clay Stop Motion Shader Tutorial

Quick test of the clay model in Unity (fbx with albedo and normals exported). We could do with some tweaking on both shader and material front, but it’s an optimistic start.
